A brand guide that lives in a PDF is out of date the day it is exported. Branddoq's brand guidelines builder turns the guide into a website instead. You assemble each page from modules, see the result while you type, and publish when it is ready. Visitors open branddoq.io/your-slug and see the current version, nothing more and nothing less.
The builder is deliberately not a free-form canvas. Modules stack vertically, one below the other, in the order you choose. That keeps every guide readable on every screen and stops pages from drifting apart in style.
Modules instead of blank pages
Each module is a typed building block with its own fields. You fill in the fields; the design is taken care of.

Module settings control the width (text, wide, full), the spacing above and below, and an optional background colour. That is enough variety for a guide that reads well, and too little for one that falls apart.
How editing works
Live preview while you type
The builder shows the page as visitors will see it while you edit. No switching between an editor view and a preview view.
Drag-and-drop ordering
Grab a module by its handle and move it up or down. The order you see is the order visitors get.
Draft and published state
Every change is a draft first. Visitors only ever see the published snapshot of a page. You can rework a whole chapter over several days and publish it in one step.
Search across the guide
Every module contributes its text to a guide-wide search. A designer looking for "minimum size" finds the logo rule without clicking through chapters.
Typography and identity per guide
Upload your brand fonts once and the guide uses them in headings, body text and captions. Fonts are served from Branddoq's own servers in Germany, not from a Google Fonts CDN, which matters for GDPR. Each guide has its own logo and favicon, so an account with several guides keeps them clearly apart.
PDF export
Some partners still ask for a file. The builder exports the entire guide as 16:9 slides. You never maintain a second document by hand.
AI help for building pages (Premium and Enterprise)
On Premium and Enterprise, the builder can draft for you:
- Create a guide from an uploaded PDF or other brand documents.
- Describe a page and receive a set of modules to refine.
- Get help with text inside any module.
The AI runs on Claude by Anthropic and is billed in AI credits (1 credit = 1 cent). Premium includes 3,000 credits per month, Enterprise 10,000. Credit packs start at 1,000 credits for €10.

What the builder does not do
- No free-form canvas. Modules stack vertically by design.
- No version history. Draft and published are the two states you get.
- No custom domains yet. Guides live under branddoq.io/{slug}.
- No Figma plugin, API or DAM integration.
- The editing workspace is in German today. The published guide is in whatever language you write it in.
