Media Pool for Brand Assets & Downloads
Upload logos, fonts, templates and documents once per brand guide, sort them into folders and place them on the pages where the rules are. Partners download single files or a ZIP of their selection.
What the media pool is
Brand assets tend to live in three places at once: a shared drive, someone's inbox and a download page nobody updates. The media pool in Branddoq puts them where they belong, next to the brand guide that explains how to use them. Each guide has its own pool. You upload files, organise them in folders and make them available on guide pages through download modules.
The media pool is part of brand guide software, not a separate digital asset management system. That is a deliberate scope: the assets people actually need are the ones the guide talks about.
How files get from you to your partners
One pool per guide
Every brand guide comes with its own media pool. If you run several guides on Premium or Enterprise, each keeps its files separate. Nothing from brand A shows up in brand B.
Folders you define
Sort files into folders such as "Logo", "Templates" or "Photography". An agency looking for the print logo finds it without scrolling past social media assets.
Download modules on guide pages
A download module places selected files directly on a page. The logo chapter shows the logo rules and, right below them, the files in the formats you provide. Nobody has to leave the page or ask by email.
ZIP download of selections
Visitors pick the files they need and download them together as one ZIP archive. One file, one click, no chasing attachments.
Access follows the guide
Each guide is either public or protected by password or login. Its downloads follow the same setting, so protected guides do not leak their files through open links.
Media pool versus shared drive
| Shared drive | Branddoq media pool | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the rules are | In a different document | On the same page as the files |
| Who sees what | Whoever has the link | Follows the guide's visibility |
| Structure | Whatever grew over the years | Folders per guide |
| Bulk download | Manual | ZIP of a selection |
| Updating a file | Send a new link to everyone | Replace it once, every page shows the new version |
Storage per plan
| Plan | Storage | Guides | Price |

| Standard | 5 GB | 1 | €69 per month |

Who it is for
- Agencies hand over a guide and the assets in one link instead of a guide plus a transfer folder that expires.
- In-house marketing stops answering "where is the current logo?" because the answer is on the logo page.
- Franchise systems give every partner the same files behind the same rules, with a password if the guide is not public.
Hosting and privacy
Files are stored in Germany. Branddoq uses only necessary cookies, serves fonts from its own servers instead of a Google Fonts CDN, and offers a data processing agreement (DPA) for customers who need one.
What the media pool does not do
- No DAM integrations, no API. Files come in by upload and go out by download.
- No version history. When you replace a file, the previous one is gone.
- No custom domains yet. Download links live under branddoq.io.
- Storage is capped per plan; see the table above.
If you need a full DAM with metadata workflows and approval chains, Branddoq is not that. If you need the assets your guide talks about, available where the guide talks about them, it is.
questions & answers.
A file library attached to a brand guide. In Branddoq every guide has its own pool where you upload logos, fonts, templates and documents, sort them into folders and place them on guide pages via download modules. Visitors download single files or a ZIP of their selection.
Yes. The download module lets you pick files from the media pool and show them on any page. The logo chapter can offer the logo files, the typography chapter the font files, and so on.
1 GB on Trial, 5 GB on Standard, 10 GB on Premium and 20 GB on Enterprise. Usage is shown in the client portal.
No. There are no DAM integrations, no API and no version history. The media pool is built for the assets a brand guide references, not for managing a whole company's media archive.
